The Story of JoJo's Dreams

Welcome to my little corner of the internet. JoJo’s Dreams was founded in 2023 by qualified Beauty Therapist, Trainer/Coach and Aromatherapy enthusiast – JoJo (or if you prefer more formally, Joanna Eastwood). The company was developed with a strong intention to help individuals flourish, by connecting, balancing and restoring your wellbeing.

 

Why? Here’s my story...

 

Having worked many years in the “Rat Race” I found people (including myself) were caught up in an aggressively competitive struggle for wealth or power. Never enjoying the now and always wanting more. I was exhausted and felt a little lost. Somehow, amongst that, I met the love of my life and we had two beautiful and wonderful children. I was enjoying my children, a fresh start and maternity leave - then COVID hit!

 

Like many, I had to adjust again to a new life but for my little world things shifted positively. The world slowed down. We all slowed down. We started to enjoy the small things. We started to really connect with our loved ones. For me it was foraging goodies from my garden, enjoying nature with my little humans, relishing in a good cuppa in the sunshine, placing my bare feet on the warm and grounding grass, meditation on a full/new moon, candles on a rainy dark day and breathing through the day with a mindful and gracious attitude. I started to feel like I was finally getting to know my TRUE SELF.

 

Getting to know what wellness really was. However, I had to return to “the real world”. My maternity leave was over. Moreso, I was returning to a job which, due to the pandemic, was so secluded and different. I felt like I was wandering through a world that I no longer belonged. Juggling Mama/Wife/Life. All the purposeless feelings returned - I became anxious, depressed, and unbalanced again. So, I decided no more.

 

Cue JoJo’s dreams “and the richness of possibilities". I could take my small wellbeing steps and share them with the world. So here I am – at the beginning of my journey.
